i grew up in pittsburgh, pa. as a pretty normal kid; a little bit punk, a little bit band geek.
i’ve moved all over this country and my greatest connection was to Las Vegas, the most forgiving and dichotomous place i’ve ever lived. Vegas appealed to my gritty side and my glamorous side equally, and i’ve found no replacement. i long for it still.
i’m now a librarian living in the midwest, interested in reflecting on my past few years; there has been one huge heartbreak, one firing, one miracle, and a few interesting twists and turns.
i’m writing for my son. and a little for me. we’ll see what happens.

Melissa, I dont know if you remember me, I am the one that worked with Noreen and Karen, as a NP student. I stumbled on to your journal looking at the RCMC healthplex page looking to re-join and seeing you as the biggest winner. I am soooooooooo sorry about Nate I had no idea. My heart is absolutely broke. I just wanted to say hello, and let you know I was thinking about you
